How we protect the platform, and how you can help keep your account secure.

1. Our approach
A2D Ventures maintains technical and organisational measures designed to protect the platform and the information it holds. This page is maintained by A2D Ventures to answer common security questions; it is a description of current practices, not a certification or independent audit.
2. Encryption in transit
All traffic to the website and investor platform is served over HTTPS using industry-standard TLS. Documents in the data room are delivered through short-lived, signed links rather than public URLs.
3. Authentication
The platform uses passwordless sign-in: a one-time code sent to your email address, or Google Sign-In. We never store account passwords. Sessions expire and can be revoked by signing out.
4. Access control
Access to deals, data rooms and investor documents is restricted by role and account status. Database access rules are enforced at the data layer, so an approved investor sees only the material they are entitled to, and document requests are granted individually by our team.
5. Monitoring and logging
Administrative and access-sensitive actions are recorded in an activity log to support review and investigation.
6. Your responsibilities
Keep your email account secure, use a device you trust, do not share one-time codes, and sign out on shared computers. Confidential materials accessed through the data room must not be forwarded or republished.
7. Phishing and impersonation
A2D Ventures will never ask you for a password, a one-time code, or funds by email or messaging app. Wire instructions are never changed by email. If you receive a suspicious request, do not act on it and contact us directly.
8. Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, email hello@a2dventures.com with the details. Please do not publicly disclose the issue or access data that is not yours while we investigate.
9. Limitations
No system can be guaranteed completely secure. We continue to improve our controls, but transmission of information over the internet is at your own risk.
